2017 NBA XPLOR Residents in St. Louis, MO
We are grateful for the relationships NBA XPLORResidents have with their congregations. The churches they serve at in their host sites are spaces where they can develop Disciples leadership skills, but it is their home congregations where Residents started forming their Disciples identity. They are also the first places where young adults learn of XPLOR.
The weekend of March 4th, Ashlyn Reynolds, Nathan Berry, and Paige Bobbitt, traveled from St. Louis to Bedford, Indiana, to talk about their Residency experience. Below is an audio recording of their presentation at First Christian Church, Ashlyn’s home congregation.
The NBA XPLOR St. Louis house is one of the five host sites where 2017-18 Residents are living and serving. Their Spiritual Companion is Karen Tye.

NBA XPLOR is a 10-month service residency opportunity for young adults ages 21-30, with the purpose of empowering young adults to discern and develop a “heart for care” as they live together in simple community, engage in direct service and justice work, engage in leadership development, and discern their vocational calls to honor the various communities they are called to serve.
