First Christian Church Edmond

Building off the core values of Open Arms and Open Doors, Creation of Space for Children and Families with Special Needs would seek to make a space where youth with special needs (and their family members) could worship and connect with the greater congregation. Using Rhythms of Grace, a curriculum and guide for worship and faith formation that was created out of the Episcopal tradition, we would develop a worshipful space that would include the celebration of communion, tactile activities, and participation of persons who are differently-abled can come as they get to know Christ.
