Webinar: The Sacred Act of Interviewing the People You Serve
One of the most important skills of a social entrepreneur is the ability to listen for the needs and yearnings of others and to do so with presence and curiosity.
In this session, we practice the interviewing and deep listening skills that are core to this work. We do so on the foundation of theology. Using the text of Martin Buber’s groundbreaking and timeless book, I and Thou, we explore how to be fully present with another, how to listen for moments of Divine inspiration, and how to take these gleanings with us into the work of making lasting, positive social impact in a world that so desperately needs it.
