Kentucky Appalachian Ministry

Kentucky Appalachian Ministry is a place where family, friends, and visitors alike are welcomed and invited to “stay a while,” to enjoy the hospitality of the people and the beauty of the mountains. KAM serves by sharing the faith, gifts, and experiences that are the heart of Kentucky Appalachia. In many ways, KAM is a bridge whereby visitors become friends as we honor culture, practice hospitality, and share our gifts with each other. This sharing expresses God’s love through responses to social, economic, educational, and spiritual caring and support.

KAM is a Mission Center of the Christian Church Disciples of Christ in the United States and Canada. In faithful witness to our Disciples of Christ heritage, KAM functions as an ecumenical ministry working with local congregations and not-for-profit organizations regardless of their denominational affiliation.
