Why did you say yes to joining NBA’s Board of Trustees?
I love the ministries and leadership development programs of the NBA. I’m especially invested in supporting the development of progressive Christian leaders; our country and current polarized climate desperately needs public witness to good news that builds bridges and promotes the common good, an expansive beloved community.
What does NBA’s vision mean to you?
It means a commitment to resource people and communities doing the work of justice and community-building, building coalitions to serve basic human needs, addressing issues created by systems that do harm, and acting to change those systems.
