Kara Whitehouse serves as the Operations and Grants Management Coordinator at NBA.
Dedicated to mission-driven organizational culture and equitable grant-making, Kara has more than 15 years of experience in overseeing and providing non-profit operational and administrative support – as well as creating adaptive, forward-thinking team practices and procedures. Kara is passionate about continuing education, relationship building, and removing barriers to grant funding. Her work at NBA gives her the opportunity to both strategically co-design grant processes while accompanying and educating potential grantees throughout the entire grants process. Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Fontbonne University as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry Leadership from Liberty University. She is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
