We provide supplemental and enhanced academic services ranging from tutoring K-12 students in our community, to providing life skills classes for small groups. H.A.T.S. is in its second year of operation from our congregation, Hope Christian Church in Hammond, IN. We hope to serve as a liaison between schools and families in the Hessville area of Hammond. We are equipped to provide online academic help in terms of remediation of basic skills, as well as one-on-one and small group tutoring. We also help students prepare for college entrance exams and scholarship searches. We operate during the school year and during the summer months as requested. In the 2017-2018 school year, we partnered with one of the local middle schools in their after school tutoring program.
