Twin Pines Christian Church

Twin Pines Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is committed to building a community of Disciples by becoming God’s hands and touching lives through Christ. Beginning January 2019, they plan to build and remodel a portable trailer that will accommodate a shower and a clothes washer/dryer for homeless youth and families to use in their community of Lexington. As part of this mobile shower and laundry project, they seek to secure sponsors that will help provide soap, backpacks filled with snacks and water as well as personal hygiene supplies. They will recruit, and train volunteers to serve as hosts that model their mission of “being God’s hands and touching lives through Christ.” They look to partner with local social service agencies to coordinate and schedule when they offer the mobile shower and laundry trailer.
