Webinar: Welcoming Those with Incarcerated Family Members
Our prisons and jails are overcrowded with people who have left communities and families behind, and 95% of those incarcerated will eventually be released. Incarceration affects families, communities, and churches. There is a stigma attached to incarceration and a sense of shame that is left with families and children of those who are placed behind bars.
How can the church become a place that supports children and families of those incarcerated? How does the church welcome home those who have been in prison or jail and reintegrate them and their families back in the community? This webinar focuses on why churches should become involved in nurturing and supporting those with loved ones who are incarcerated, and how our communities of faith can become part of the solution in reintegrating families when those who are incarcerated return home.
