Meet the 2022 Social Entrepreneurship Cohort
The National Benevolent Association is proud to announce the 2022 Social Entrepreneurship Cohort. Launched last year, this cohort is part of NBA’s Social Entrepreneurship Program led by Rev. Darnell Fennell.
This year’s cohort is comprised of ten members whose social enterprises address issues of racism, inadequate access to mental health resources, and food insecurity. The group will be facilitated by Fennell and Social Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator Rev. Ashley Mayham. Additionally, the cohort will have opportunities to speak with marketing specialists, nonprofit leaders, and other experts to aid in the growth and establishment of the nonprofit they’re building.
These entrepreneurs will meet quarterly throughout the year and act as a sounding board as they navigate through the unknown that is entrepreneurship. “I am eager to see the development of these entrepreneurs and their social enterprises, their forward-leaning ideas fuel so much excitement with our program,” says Rev. Fennell.
